10th Annual Lewis County Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament

Don’t miss the “10th Annual Lewis County Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament” being held at the Brantingham Golf Course on Saturday, June 8, 2013 with a shotgun start at 9:00am. Limited to the first 36 teams registered…Four-Person Captain & Crew format, teams of:

· Four Males
· Four Females
· Co-ed ~ two males/two females

Prizes for 1st & 2nd place in each flight, closest to the pin, longest drive...AND a “Hole in One CASH Prize of $5,000”, Sponsored by Carthage Federal Savings and Loan Association.

Cost is $180 per team, which includes Green’s Fees, Prizes, and Steak Dinner. Carts are to be reserved directly with Brantingham Golf Course (315) 348-886. Black River Canoe and Kayak Race “The Black River Challenge”

The 4th Annual Black River Canoe and Kayak Race will start at the DEC Boat Launch in Glenfield, NY and will end at the DEC Boat Launch in Castorland, NY.

The distance is 23 miles, and there are no carries. The Black River will provide a twisty, winding race course that is at times a fast-moving current with varying depths and various minor hazards (mid-river rocks and shoals, old locks, bridge abutments, and downed trees embedded in the river bottom).

BUSINESS-AFTER-HOURS AND DINNER EVENTS

Networking is important for any business or organization that deals with the public and with other business entities. Some of the best advertising is done by word-of-mouth. The Lewis County Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to making networking opportunities available.
Each month, except during special occasion months, the Chamber coordinates a “Business-After-Hours” (BAH) event which is hosted by one or more member businesses.
